don't do it yourself , going blonde in any case is horrble for your hair. go to a salon and get maybe in all over blonde color with clonde highlights but not bleach. i dont think its a good idea coloring hair extensions , but if u do , use a good hair mask once a week. and stay away from heat products.

Dye them in the contrast of your hair color. If it's blonde, dye the extensions black or light brown.

If it's brown, dye them red(copper) or blonde.

If your hair is black, dye them red or white.

But keep in mind extensions damage your hair a lot. Even more if u dye them.

To be honest if you have naturally dry hair, don't do it.

Hair extensions are dry as it is and need to be mantained properly with weekly deep conditioning treatments instead of monthly, because your hair isn't growing out of your scalp and therefore doesn't have the nutrients that real hair gets normally.

Dying your hair will only make extensions even dryer, making them really hard to maintain. I suggest when you have them taken out for the new ones, get another colour there.

Be sure to always use heat protection too because if you don't that is the worst culprit for dry hair, sporting long term effects.
