I blow dry my hair straight ever single day, and it is fried!!!!?

i HATE it when I air dry my hair it is awful ( it is straight in the front and really wavy in the back and its just butt ugly) anyways, I need a way to help my hair get used to the heat. i swim every night, and therefore I need to wash my hair every day. (and blow dry it) the pool dries it out, then so does the dryer....

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I blow dry my hair straight ever single day, and it is fried!!!!?

you need to use a thermal spray before you dry your hair and before your straighten your hair!! and p.s dont go to like walmart or a drugstore to buy this. try a beauty store to buy it and tell them you need a thermal spray and they will help you. they also have shampoo's. hotsets is a great brand so is redken

oh and sometimes sally's has bad shampoos too so try buying it at an actual salon. because you would not believe how bad some products really are for your hair ;)

make sure you use good heat protection spray before you blow it dry. or you can wash it, then comb it and put it in braided pigtails/pony tail and let it air dry like that. that way it would be evenly wavy and not just in the back.

all that chlorine is not good for your hair so you should buy shampoo and conditioner by malibuwellness. it takes out all the chlorine from your hair. and as for the blow drying you have to get a heat protectant that you put in before blow drying. redken has one called heat glide. makes your hair shiny and protects your hair from any heat. chi also has one called silk infusion. alot of brands now have a heat protectant. and you can buy these things and the malibuwellness at a tradesecret or beauty brands or beauty express.

Don't wash it every day, just rinse out he chlorine, and reapply conditioner. Wash your hair once every two days with a really moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

Use the herbal essences line Breaks Over. Bumble and Bumble creme de coco works better if you're not on a budget, and it smells delicious!

thermal cream is the life of the blowdryer scene!

Don't blow dry it. Great way to dry your hair fast is comb it out (with a wide-toothed comb) GENTLY, then take a walk. Seriously, fresh air is amazing for your hair. Plus, the sunlight will make it healthier as long as you don't over-do the sunlight. Also, look into shampoos that are specially designed for swimmers.

before you swim, put redkin sunshape swim care.it protects your hair from the sun/clhorine (im pretty sure of it) then when you wash your hair make sure to condition it.i have a realy nice blowdryer i use.its a little more expensive but i think its called Complement by Ionic or something like that.it doesnt damage your hair as much.

Well, I am not a pro on this but I do have some advice because I blow dry my hair everyday and color it constantly and my hair is beautiful. First, when you swim - wear a swim cap. I know those things suck, but it will help. Second, use EXPENSIVE CONDITIONER. I color my hair constantly, not permanent, but color is color so I always use expensive conditioner. I buy Aveda products. Third, every time I wash my hair I put these two products in it 1. TRESemme Straightening Gel and 2. Brilliant Brunette (John Frieda). Both of these products seal in shine and help with split ends. Last, I cut my own hair 閳?so I constantly trim the ends. When was the last time you trimmed the ends of your hair? Moreover, remember 閳?trimming split ends means hardly any hair at all you have to cut. Therefore, if somebody cuts an inch off every couple of weeks 閳?they do not know what they are doing. Well, maybe some of those points will help. I know that if I do not do these things, my hair is dried out and looks fried.

Thanks.

This is how I've started to bring my hair back to life:

- Dove Advanced Care Therapy shampoo and conditioner

- rinse hair in cold water right before getting out of the shower to add shine and smooth hair cuticle

- use TRESemme Anti-Frizz Secret Creme and Nuetorgena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum

- let your hair air dry as much as you can before blow drying it

- use the lowest heat when you blow dry it

- maybe on the weekends you can let it air dry

- after you're done, use the serum again (just a little, too much makes hair look greasy)

- getting a hair cut/trim often helps keep hair healthy and so does drinking alot of water

This has helped me, so I think you should give it a try. Good luck!! =)

If you like your hair straight, why not go for a straight perm - it leaves your hair glossy and you need not worry about it for about a year. Your only need to use the hair dryer at a distance once you finish your shower. Since you swim every night, wet your hair and rub in some conditioner under your cap. It helps to keep it from drying from all that chlorine.

Invest in a good hair treatment and pamper your hair during the weekend by leaving it on for a few minutes. Also, get some serum or even olive oil (not the cooking type) to give it some shine.
