Help identify this movie please :) 10 pts?

My dad remembers this movie was good but remembers very little about it.

He remembers a woman being drug down some stairs in a black and white checkerd dress, I think she survived this movie. He also remembers an attempt to electrocute her while she was in the tub with a radio or hair dryer or something like that.

The movie is Sci-Fi they are pretty sure, some kind of science experiment gone wrong possibly.

It sounds like "Death Becomes Her" with Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis, and Goldie Hawn. It's about this woman who wants to stay young forever so she takes this potion, and that night her husband tries to kill her, but she can't die. She doesn't have a pulse or anything, but she's still alive. Turns out the potion makes her live forever. It's a very quality movie.

Could it have been the Arrival (1996) with Charley Sheen? I remember his own bathtub fell through the floor and crashed below. I'm trying to think of SCi-Fi movies that have a bathtub scene.

It could be "Lady Killers". I do know that the most recent was a remake. There was one in the 50's I think. It's about a bunch of men who have a robbery plot and they need to kill the old lady, but they just can't seem to get it done. Not to great, but an idea. Could be "Death Becomes Her", but i can't match up the dress, hair dryer, or other scenes. Good Luck!
