Dry and frizzy hair and i want it to grow more to?

my hair can get really frizzy when i dont blow dry it straight with the round brush and stuff lik \e i have to style it every time if i dont style it then i have to use the straight iorn and that makes is straight but dry what can i do is there anything i can use to make my hair not frizzy that i dont have to blow dry with because i know the blow dryer is bad alot and also what can i do to make it grow?

Choose a hair stylist experienced in curly/dry hair.

Have your hair stylist help you choose a hairstyle that is easy to maintain--preferably one that just requires a wet-and-go approach.

Once you have your favored style, visit your stylist at least 4 times a year to trim split ends.

Don't let your hair stylist use a razor to layer your hair (although layering is good.) Razors contribute to split ends.

Don't wash hair every day. This kind of hair needs the natural oils from your scalp to reduce frizz.

To upkeep your desired style, just wet hair with some conditioner on non-washing days (rinse thoroughly).

Avoid using hairdryers unless necessary. Blowdrying hair dries it out. If you must use a hair dryer than make sure you use a diffuser.

Believe it or not, grease, mousses and gels make caring for this kind of hair harder!! Chemical build-ups require more washing than is healthy.

If you must use products, use high-quality, health-food store or salon products that leave little residue.

Do not brush, unless you want a 'fro.

Try using a Ceramic hair Straightener it wont dry your hair...Use plenty of a good Conditioner not cheap brand..Or go to a Hair stylist and get some advice from them..Good Luck

try not to completely blow dry your hair. as for making it grow, try miricle grow from the nursery.

Wow! I have the same problem! My hair is so ugly when i dnt do anything to it! N once i work the magic with the irons its BEAUTIFUL!lol but what you can do is go to johnfrieda.com and you can find out stuff there or go to redken.coom n do the same there. Everytime i go to cut my hair they tell me its fine to straiten it alot but i need to out sumthin in it before doin that like some kind of serum or leave-in conditioner. Alos deep condition it,that should help. You cant do much to grow out ur hair but time,it only grows 1/2" a month but it does help if you drink ALOT OF WATER! n exercise because the blood flow goes to your head n well that helps! also masaging it 5mins daily should get your blood flow going, also eat alot of stuff with protein, because dats what hair is. You should get a trim or cut off 1" from your hair because that will help grow, if u dnt wanna cut it because u dnt want it any shorter add long layers or any other type of layers you want because that adds the illusion of longer hair ;) Hope i helped if anything write me at preciouz_latina08@yahoo.com

I have always been told that cutting it every six months can help it grow like trimming the dead ends and stuff, and as for dryness i have the same problem and i began using that tresseme moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and and it really works i love how that stuff does my hair, frizziness sorry but maybe trimming regular combined with the tresseme will help

Don't let your hair be completely dry, get just a little bit of water (i use a wet brush) in your hair before straightening, if it's completely dry, your only frying your hair. Using product in your hair before straightening combined with a bit of water can work wonders too.

If your hair is frizzy because it's really curly and thick, then don't thin your hair! That frizzes it out even more and will take a while to grow out again.

As for hair growth...well...everyone's hair grows differently. Keeping it healthy might help though. -.o
