There was probably some idiot that did this and that's why the warning is on there. Have you ever read about some of the ridiculous law suits out there?

Only morons would. My diffuser also comes with the instructions "do not use while sleeping"

I know or `do not use in bath tub`....Ive seen another....on a box of bullets..`may cause injury or death....oh gee ya think.

Sadly, most of those warnings are on products because somebody DID try it . . .sigh

they have to put stupid instructions on everything...I am often amused by reading the labels of food, shampoo, etc.

1. someone had to attempt it inorder for them to post the warning



2. they don't want to be sued for not posting the hazards

Because there are people that are that stupid. I say do away with all warning labels and OSHA. Stupid people will take care of themselves and the gene pool will improve.

In England yoghurts and butter have "contains milk" printed on them...talk about saving people from their own stupidity.
