i have really long and straight hair and i was wondering, do curl creams or curl activators work on straight hair? will it make really really straight hair curly without the use of blow dryers or curling irons? because i have an extremely hard time maintaining curly hair even if i use hairspray with extreme hold. After 4 hours or so, my hair turns straight again..please help!

i got this shampoo its called wash and curl i think i bought it at walgreens/longs u get it I have straight long hair too so i wash my hair with it and i braide it with gel my hair stayed curly for 3 days! 3 days! my hair usually would be flat in 3 hours or less! I also crimped/curled my hair and it stayed in for 14 hours soo i think it could do u some good. o0o and advice for when u curl when ur hair is wet put a mousse in then dry it as usaly when u curl it dont spray hairspray on it right away its wet and thats what akes it come out let the curled hair cool down for a couple of minutes and then spray

You still need to wash and set your entire head of hair in rollers when you curl creams/activators on straight hair
however your curls should probably last for between 10 - 12 hrs before you need to re-set your hair again.
Try rollers setting your hair and sleeping in it so that you can have nice curls in the morning that will last all day long
try if possible to air dry your roller sets it can take a few hours
