hi,

firstly Keep your hair well conditioned with a rich moisturising product. The hairstyle is also important. If your hair is very frizzy you don't want too many layers. Have a few longish ones that will allow your hair to flow. Always use a diffuser when blowdrying which will help control the frizz but will not remove all the body!

A few tricks of mine as i have naturally curly hair-

Always rinse with the coldest water you can stand after using a shampoo and conditioner for straight hair. The cold water "locks down" the hair cuticle and makes hair appear slicker, less frizzy.

Use a weekly home remedy "hair mask." My hair dresser told me about this one and I have been hooked ever since. Mix one egg to one part mayo and one part olive oil. Make a paste and apply to hair. Wrap hair in a towel and allow to work at least 30 minutes. Rinse out and shampoo and condition as usual. Hair will have a smooth, shiny appearance.

Blow dry methodically. This can take practice and time, but it is worth it. Use a big round brush that will allow you to smooth your hair as you dry. Always blow in a downward motion. Running the dryer over hair up and down causes the cuticle to frizz and split. Divide hair into sections with curler pins and dry one section at a time.

Shampoo's**** SUNSILK (GREEN LABEL FOR FRIZZY HAIR) ITS PERFECT AND MAKES YOUR HAIR SLEEK AND SOFT!

U can use the conditioner aswell!

Well, first, it sounds like you should stay away from clear shampoos and use, instead, rich and creamy shampoos. There's a line called "PhytoSpecific" made for curly, dry hair. It works wonders for my sister and I. But it tends to be a little expensive. Pantene's line for curly hair (the shampoo, conditioner and both) is great, too.

If you aren't scared to spend a little extra money, go to a local salon and check out their collection.

This is so easy.

Although I reconize your dispair. I wonce had this problem myself. I have very thick, very curly, very frizzy hair. And when the humidity got bad I looked like I stuck my finger in the socket. All summer I had to wear my hair tied back in a braid.

If I gelled it. I went threw a large dep gell in one week.

Then my hair was re-born.

You need to go buy a product called Biosilk. Yes, it is costly. Like $30.00 a bottle. But it will last you about 6-8 months.

( You can find it at Sam's for like $29.99 and it comes with Biosilk brand Shampoo and Conditioner.)

I personally dont like the shampoo and conditioner, but you could sell it on ebay and buy another biosilk clear oil treatment with the money.

Wash your hair with...

Loreal Vive Pro Color Care Shampoo for Color-Treated Regular Hair

Condition with ....

Loreal Vive Pro Color Care Cream Conditioner for Color-Treated Regular Hair

Even if your hair isnt color treated. Its wonderful shampoo and conditioner. I've used it for years.

When you get out of the shower and your hair is lightly towel dryed put in your biosilk. The first could times you can blow dry your hair to get the oil worked in deep and you will feel the softness right away. After about 5 treatments you can just put the biosilk of wet hair and let it dry naturally and your hair will look beautiful healthy and shiney and frizz free.

No more weighing your hair down with products that will make your hair crunchy!!! HURRAY!

Use Aveda Smooth Infusion shampoo.

It does not contain any sodium ingredients and therefore does not strip your hair from any protein while washing it. It hydrating and smoothes the frizz even if you don't use the conditioner too. It's well worth it!
