Flat iron or blow dryer with an attachment?

I'm Black but i don't have most black people hair. my hair is thin and curly. What would be better to use a flat iron or a blow dryer with an attachment. I want it straght but want to use something that won't damage it that much. What are some good blowdryer's or strightening combs to use?

A flat iron with tourmaline in the plates is better than any blow dryer. Use a leave in conditioner like Aussie's Dual Personality, dry your hair til it's just barely damp and then use the flat iron. The tourmaline in the plates will break down the moisture and make it readily absorbable by your hair, keeping it from drying out. I have a Cricket straightener by Chi. It's available to professional stylists only, so you'll have to ask a professional to buy it for you.

I kind of have the same hair that you do. Putting any type of heat on your hair frequently will damage it. I use an ionic blow-dryer with a comb/brush attachment, because it tends to eliminate much of the frizz. If you want your hair much straighter, use a ceramic flat iron on a warm temperature setting. AND DON'T FORGET TO CONDITION!!!
